The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the results of nation's Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2014 on 05th May 2014.
Around 13 lakh students across the country took the examination.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweets about the results of the JEE Main 2014.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweets, "This year 73 students from tribal schools of Madhya Pradesh have cleared IIT JEE (mains). Last year it was just 7".
Maharashtra gives admission to students who scored zero marks in JEE
According to his tweet, around 73 students from the tribal schools across Madhya Prasdesh have cleared the JEE Main 2014 entrance examination. In 2013, it was only 7 students from these schools who had cleared the JEE exam.
JEE Main 2014 is the qualifying entrance examination which was conducted for admission to Engineering / Technology courses in 26 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 4 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and State Funded Technical Institutions (SFTIs) across the country.
