Joint Admission Test (JAM) for M.Sc. Register online from Sept 2013

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) to conduct the Joint Admission Test (JAM 2014) for admission in 2 Year M.Sc, Joint M.Sc Ph.D, Dual Degree and other Postgraduate Degree programmes at IITs and IISc.

The M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree and other post-bachelor degree programmes at the IITs offer high quality education in their respective disciplines, comparable to the best in the world.

The main objective of JAM is to consolidate Science as a career option for bright students across the country.

It is expected that the research infrastructure, the inter-disciplinary interaction and the vibrant academic environment of IISc Bangalore & IITs will motivate these students to pursue R&D careers in frontier areas of basic sciences as well as inter-disciplinary areas of science and technology.

Eligibility:
The Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 55% (50% for SC/ST) of marks from a recognised university.

Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Joint Admission Test.

Online registration for JAM 2014 commence from September 2013.
