Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar has released the India Rankings 2017 of National Institutional Ranking Framework - NIRF yesterday. The rankings is conducted by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) as a system for Indian universities based on various parameters. It was introduced in 2016.

Here are top 10 universities in India as per the NIRF rankings. As per reports, the ranking is done with parameters such as teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
