Uttar Pradesh is the fourth state with the highest number of engineering colleges in the country.
The state has more than 320 engineering colleges with 1.4 lakh seats. The state even has two IITs and, one IIIT and one NIT and has more than 30 universities.
Mechanical, Computer Science and Civil engineering are the most common branches, which are offered by the state colleges.
