State Bank of India has activated the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) preliminary exam call letter for regular vacancies. The exam is scheduled on September 26 and 27, 2026. Candidates should verify city, shift and ID details now. The download window remains open till September 27. Do not delay the printout.

To download, visit SBI Careers, open Current Openings, choose Junior Associates, then click the call‑letter link. Log in with registration number and date of birth or password. If the print looks faint, reprint and firmly affix a recent passport photo. Carry two extra photos of the same image.

How to check SBI Clerk prelims shift and reporting rules

Your call letter shows date, shift and reporting time; follow it strictly. Late entry is not permitted, so reach the centre early and expect frisking. Keep the call letter handy for quick verification at the gate and again inside the lab when asked by invigilators.

SBI Clerk prelims documents and photo or signature requirements

Bring the call letter with a pasted recent passport photograph, two spare photos, one original photo ID and its photocopy. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter Card and others listed. Your signature must match the application; capital letters are invalid. Retain the stamped call letter for mains.

Allowed and prohibited items at the SBI Clerk prelims centre

Allowed: ballpoint pen, call letter, two photos, original ID with photocopy, glue and a blue ink stamp pad. Prohibited: calculators, smartwatches, mobile phones, books, notes or similar aids. Rough sheets are provided and must be returned before leaving the lab; non‑compliance invites action under rules.

SBI Clerk prelims paper pattern and negative marking

The online prelims has 100 questions across three timed sections in 60 minutes. There is negative marking: one‑fourth mark is deducted for each wrong answer. No sectional cut‑off applies; section timings are fixed. Check the information handout for permitted test languages by state.

PwBD and scribe norms, helpline and city or shift issues

Eligible PwBD candidates must complete the online scribe declaration, print it and carry the specified medical certificate.
