Holi is a fun-filled festival, which brings it happiness and lots of fun. Most of the exam goers specifically the students of Class 10 and Class 12 always complain of Holi which perpetually falls in the middle of annual board examinations. Though the CBSE and other State Boards have given a day's gap, it is extremely difficult for students to concentrate on the board exam. We do agree that the board examinations are important, but the festival remains incomplete in the family without youngsters. Students no need to be so dejected if they have a study plan for the board exam on Holi. Here are some tips that help students to prepare for the board exam and enjoy Holi at the same time.
Holi never kick-starts before the sun is high up in the sky. Hence it is advised to start the day early and prepare for the exam. Try to complete at least 3 to 4 hours of study in the morning.
Students will not get much time to study on fun-fill festivals such as Holi. One should devote more time for preparation. It is also advised to study in the early morning or late evening so that there will be a minimum distraction of sounds in the colony. One should stay away from social media and others.
Go For Mock Tests
Experts suggest that a student should attempt at least one mock test during the final phase of preparation. Students are also advised to solve the sample paper, which will help you to understand the weightage.
Focus On Revision
What you read on the last day is most important in the board exams. Revision plays a significant role to boost confidence. Be it Class 10 or Class 12 one should devote at least 3 to 4 hours for revision on the last day.
Avoid Outside Food
Students should restrict themselves on outside food and beverages. It is advised to consume natural drink such as milk and buttermilk, which help the body to stay cool and refresh. The outside food is also not recommended until the end of the board exams.
Being confident on the exam day stands above all. Students are advised to come back early from fun-filled activities to start the exam preparation. An adequate amount of sleep is required to keep your brain in good functioning. At least eight hours of sleep is required.
Holi Precautions For Students
- Avoid using permanent colours, which cause rashes on the skin.
- It is not advised to play with wet colours.
- Always make sure you protect your eyes.
- Never consume aerated drinks or intoxicating drinks.
- Remove stains with the help of lemon slices.
