How to Pay Fee Online to Obtain an Eligibility Certificate PUC I in Karnataka

Students who have completed their schooling under the CBSE, ICSE, or other SSLC equivalent boards must obtain an Eligibility Certificate to secure admission in Pre-University 1 i.e. class 11th from Karnataka Board. This process is crucial for those who have studied in Karnataka from grades 1 to 10 and seek admission through the Centralized Admission Process, no matter which school you are studying.

Application Process

When submitting the online application, students must mention the eligibility code as per Annexure-1. It's important to carefully fill in basic information and mark data as per the user manual instructions since this data isn't available on the server.

Before login to the official website you must have the scanned copies of the below documents with you:

Mandatory Documentation

According to the Karnataka PU Board, students who have passed Class X from boards other than the Karnataka State Board must obtain an Eligibility Certificate.

The necessary documents for this process include:

  • Class X Marks Card: Obtained from Digilocker or attested online result sheet by the School Principal.
  • Migration Certificate: Proof of transfer from the previous board.
  • Transfer Certificate: Issued by the last attended school.
  • Bonafide Certificate (or Conduct Certificate): A certificate verifying the student's conduct and authenticity.

Important Note: Study Certificate, should contain the information about the year from when to when you studied in Karnataka. If you do not have the study certificate then you have to either submit the domicile certificate or an affidavit. Also the file size of the above documents should be between 100kb to 500kb.

Steps to Obtain Eligibility Certificate

  • Login to https://dpue-pragathi.karnataka.gov.in/eligibilitycertificate/Homep
  • Click on Apply Enter the details of the student
  • Click on Save and Continue and then upload the above documents.
  • The system will take you to the payment module. Pay the fees of Rs. 1000+10 (platform fee) = Rs. 1010/- .
  • Once done take a print of the receipt and submit in the institution.

Important Note: In case your payment gateway failed then do not try again and again in the same browser. System will just generate the application number again and again the bid will not successful. So always try the browser in incognito mode and then proceed.
