Take A Peaceful Walk
This really works. If you are having difficulty in solving a problem and cannot figure it out at your desk, just get up and go for a walk outside. While doing so, don't contemplate the problem but try to get your mind back on track by thinking about something good. Then, go back and face the problem which now won't be as distressing.
Phone A Friend
Just like it would work in KBC, calling a friend helps a lot while going through a bad day at work. Just make sure you speak to a friend you are comfortable talking to. If that's someone from your school or college, recollect the fond memories of the old days and you will be forced to grin. Resultantly, you will get back the courage to fight even the hardest battle.
Do Not Feel Inferior

Approach the closest friend of yours at your workplace and talk about a social issue, politics or about a sport which is your common favourite. It will reinvigorate your mind and bring it back to life.
Jot Down Everything
If there's not one problem but a string of them, just pick a pen and paper and write everything down. Make a list of problems and scrutinise it. Think about how many of them can be solved and write the solutions for them.
This way, even if there are problems, you will have them organised, which will help you find their solutions. You can also carry a personal diary for noting your thoughts down which will act as a friend. You can share everything with it and it will eventually make your heart feel light.
