The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the entrance exam in India for medical college admissions. NEET UG 2018 is scheduled on May 6, 2018. With hardly two months more to go, the heat of full-length preparations for this exam has set in. Since the board exams are on-going, students are expected to start their entrance exam preparations with full dedication once they get over.

Refer Authentic Books

There is no point preparing a lot of topics from unreliable books. NEET UG will be based on NCERT textbooks. It is safer to keep NCERT books as the primary source of reference for your preparation and then use any other book for easy understanding or value addition.

Prepare A List Of Topics

Since NEET syllabus is vast, you may be lost just by looking at it. Do not panic. Just prepare a list of subjects and topics in each to study. Once you have the goals in hand, it would be easier for you to make a plan.

Get The Desiderata Ready

Now that you know what you have to study, get all your materials ready. When you have created a conducive study setting and then realise that you do not have the right materials, you will end up wasting time a lot. So first gather all your study material in once place and then start with the preparation.

Create A Timetable

With all the essentials ready to launch your study marathon for cracking NEET 2018, chart out a study plan to attain your goals. No timetable is too incredible to work on unless you do not have the willpower to reach your ambition. NEET, in particular, requires long hours of dedicated study. So first create a habit of staying put for 3 to 4 hours studying and then continue to do the same with full focus everyday.

Evaluate Your Strength And Weakness

Since it is difficult to gauge the important questions for this exam given that the exam was introduced in the recent years, you cannot take chances in leaving out any portion. So start with your weak areas and master them. Revise the ones you are strong in during the last few days. Remember to divide your schedule dexterously to avoid any last-minute confusions.
