Get a colouring book

Oh wait, its not one of those childish ideas to draw and colour! Did you know that there are even adult colouring books? So why colouring book? Because, it is said that painitng and drawing would get your creative thinking active. Are you still not convinced?

Lets think more adult-like. Get a drawing book and start expressing your serious nature through inner doodles. This art could make you realise what wonderful patterns that your brain could come up with. You can later incorporate those designs in mehendi, kolams, wall painting and what not! First let it flow on the paper.

 

DIY crafts

Craftwork does not only mean the show pieces that you create to decorate your houses but also anything that you make with your hands. It could be something as simple as trying out a homemade kajal or a facepack.

The experience of just making something useful on your own would make you feel happy and satisfied. There are so many YouTube videos online that would teach you such Do-it-Yourself (DIY) crafts.

You could even pick on a new hobby such as quilling or jewellery making in the act and who knows, you might even learn to sell those products and become a quick entrepreneur! Isn't that exciting enough to get going? (winks).

Here is another thing that you might not have tried your hands on because you were too busy looking at the dishes online or only when your mom made something. Although it might not have been encouraging for you earlier, have you ever wondered how fascinating a thing is cooking? No? Then now know!

How can cooking help you get creative and happy? When you start making a dish, you get curious of the taste and conscious of the ooutput. So you keep on adding something or the other to acquire that taste.

If the usual cooking doesn't interest you, now baking might sound cool to you, as all the other western methods. You definitely love making a lip smacking and delicious looking colourful cake that will fetch hundreds of likes on facebook, don't you?

Being a farmer is the best thing that you can try doing in your holidays. You could either get on with a couple of your friends and sow seeds on the street or get your own pot plants and water it everyday.

To add fun to this factor, you could even name your pet plants and talk to them everyday, making it more intellectual as you indulge in this creative hobby!

Although one of the traditional methods, reading a story book could take you to your own imaginative land by creating images of the characters virtually in your brain.

You would be amazed at how much happiness and confidence that even reading a simple story could give you. Pick your genre, search for reviews of book and order one right away. Reading books not only improves your creativity but also improves your concentration power as a student.
