Candidates who wish to pursue engineering after graduating from class 12 have to appear for the entrance examinations.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

JEE stands tall in the first position in the list of engineering entrance examinations because it is the gateway to an admission in the premier institutes in the country such as IITs and NITs. We hope students are familiar with the announcement that said JEE Main will be conducted twice a year.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which will be the organising body for JEE Main now onwards, has recently released the dates for JEE Main 2019. Check the dates of both JEE Main I & II in 2019.

JEE Main I

Mode of examination: Computer-based
Registration dates: September 1 and 30, 2018
Download of admit cards: December 17, 2018
Date of examinations: January 6 to 20, 2019
Date of announcing results: January 31, 2019

JEE Main II

Mode of examination: Computer-based
Registration dates: February 8 to March 7, 2019
Download of admit cards: March 18, 2019
Date of examinations: April 6 to 20, 2019
Date of announcing results: April 30, 2019

BITSAT 2019

Undoubtedly, getting an admission to Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is as difficult as getting a seat in an IIT or an NIT. BITSAT is conducted for an admission to various engineering courses at BITS institutes in the country.

Around, two lakh candidates take BITSAT every year for the two thousand seats spread across the three BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITSAT is a computer-based online test. It will be for a total of three hours without any breaks.
