CBSE Exam Centre Locator App: Why Class 10 & 12 Students Should Download?

Every year, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the board examinations in February/March for both Class 10 (Secondary School Certificate) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary Certificate). Around 30 lakh candidates appear for the written examinations across the country. It is very important for students to know about their examination centre and how to reach it easily. To assist students, the Board has launched a mobile application called an Exam Centre Locator (CBSE ECL) App. The mobile app is available only on Google Playstore as CBSE ECL. Students who are aspiring to appear for Class 10 or Class 12 annual academic examination are advised to download the CBSE ECL app to find their exam centre. • Go to Google Play Store and search for CBSE ECL app.
• Click on the Install to download the app.
• Enter the details such as mobile phone number. Email address is optional.
• Enter the OTP received to the mobile number.
• CBSE Exam Centre Locator App is installed.

• Students should select the exam from the drop-down box - Class 10 or Class 12.
• Enter the roll number provided in the CBSE admit card.
• Submit the details.
• The examination centre will be displayed.

The notice reads, ''Kindly ensure to inform your students about the Exam Centre Locator (CBSE ECL) App. The Exam Centre Locator App-CBSE ECL APP- is an android based mobile app which can be used by students to locate their examination centre and see the distance between current location and Examination Centre. The App is available on Google Playstore.''
