Chemist

A chemist is a person who experiments with chemicals to deduce their reactions and draws inferences from them. They act as scientists in research laboratories. Chemists take different sub-streams such as organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry, depending on their area of expertise, and experiment with it. BSc in chemistry is the basic degree required to become a chemist.

Chemical Engineer

A chemical engineer helps in converting raw materials into products through engineering principles. They are largely employed in design and manufacture of chemical plants and troubleshooting the chemical processes. In order to become a chemical engineer, a BTech in chemical engineering is the basic qualification.

Healthcare Scientist

Healthcare scientists conduct chemical experiments and investigate diseases, genetic makeup and discover new scientific treatments. They act as proxy doctors and work with patients directly to understand their needs. BSc, MPhil and PhD are the courses to pursue in order to become a scientist.

Forensic Scientist
