The eligibility criteria for appearing for CET after the 2nd PUC include:
The candidate must have passed the 2nd PUC examination or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
The candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects in their 2nd PUC or equivalent.
The candidate must be a citizen of India and must have studied for a minimum of 7 years in Karnataka.

The undergraduate entrance examination (UGET) is a computer-based exam used to determine admission to BE/BTech programmes. This exam is available to all students who are eligible in the country.
The organisation is mostly made up of professors of distinction and reputable administrative personnel who organise the exam to choose aspiring candidates in a way that is equitable and open.
Entrance to colleges is based on the candidates' performance in the examination. Nevertheless, there are also centralised counselling sessions for candidates, during which applicants can learn about the colleges and make their final selection.
MHT CET
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a state-level entrance exam used for choosing candidates for engineering and pharmacy programmes at multiple universities across Maharashtra. Applicants who have completed or are about to complete their Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biology as required courses are eligible to take the MHT CET 2023.
AUEET
The Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test is shortened to AUEET. Each year, it is held by the Directorate of Admissions at Andhra University. Candidates can apply for admission to the 6-year dual degree course (BTech + MTech) at the University College of Engineering (A) and the Andhra University (AU) College of Engineering for Women through AUEET.
Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to be admitted to various engineering courses. Students who are awaiting the results of the qualifying exam are also eligible for AUEET 2022 if they can present the required documentation at the time of counselling.
