The University of Leeds has launched the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024 to support Indian students pursuing a master's degree at the institution. This initiative highlights the University's commitment to strengthening educational ties and promoting academic excellence with India.

Indian nationals who have received an offer for a full-time master's program at the University of Leeds are eligible for this scholarship. The selection process will evaluate academic achievements, potential contributions to the university community, and future career goals in their chosen field.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students:
To qualify, applicants must be Indian nationals and self-funded, classified as international fee-paying students. The master's course should commence at the University of Leeds in September 2024. Candidates must meet all conditions of their academic offer and accept it on the application portal.
If required, a tuition fee deposit of £3,000 must be paid by the date specified in the offer letter. Online courses are not eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, students must be registered at the University of Leeds by February 2025.
Financial Support and Application Process:
The scholarship provides £5,000 per candidate towards tuition fees, with no limit on the number of scholarships available. Eligible students will automatically receive this award as a tuition fee deduction in their second semester without needing an additional application.
This scholarship can be combined with any Department/Faculty scholarships or external funding, provided it does not exceed 100% of tuition fees. However, it cannot be deferred to a future year; deferring entry results in forfeiting the award.
University's Commitment to Excellence:
The University of Leeds is one of the UK's largest higher education institutions, hosting over 40,000 students from around 140 countries. It is part of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities and collaborates with institutes like the Alan Turing, Rosalind Franklin, and Royce Institutes.
