An official notification has been released by the Ashoka University calling out for interested and eligible candidates to apply for the post of Young India Fellowship 2018-19.
Fellowship objective
The Fellowship aims to bring together a group of bright young individuals, who show exceptional intellectual ability and leadership potential, from across the country and trains them to become socially committed agents of change.

Educational qualification
In order to be eligible to avail this scholarship, a candidate must have a recognized undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline can apply.

The maximum 28 years of age, as on 31st May 2018

Scholarship details
The fellowship covers (in full or in part) the tuition fees, fully-furnished residence with materials including shared textbooks.

The selection process for YIF is based on the academic record, a sustained demonstration of their talent in the domain of their interest and their passion for learning beyond the prescribed curriculum. The evaluation process includes a screening of applications, telephone and personal interviews and test for critical thinking and communication skills.
