The University of Birmingham (UoB) has introduced scholarships totaling £1 million for Indian students. The university aims to assist Indian students with commendable academic and extra-curricular achievements who choose to pursue their studies at UoB.

As a member of the esteemed Russell Group of UK universities, UoB holds a position among the top 100 universities globally. These merit-based scholarships are designated for the 2024-25 academic year and are open to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. The awards cover various academic fields, including Business, Computer Science, Arts & Law, Environmental & Physical Sciences, Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences.
Among the scholarship offerings, UoB has announced 20 Outstanding Achievement Awards for UG students, each valued at £4,000. Additionally, there are 15 awards for Indian Chancellor Scholarships for PG students, each amounting to £2,000. The university is also providing £2,000 scholarships through its Global Masters Scholarship scheme. These are just a few examples of the numerous scholarships specifically available for Indian students at the University of Birmingham.
The available scholarships include:
- UG Outstanding Achievement Scholarships: 20 awards, each valued at £4,000.
- PG: India Chancellor Scholarship: 15 awards, each amounting to £2,000.
- Global Masters Scholarships (Automatic): £2,000 scholarships per award.
- DeepMind Scholarships for Computer Science: 3 awards, each totaling £52,565.
- GREAT Scholarships 2024: A £10,000 award for students pursuing one-year postgraduate study at the University.
- The GEES Global Futures Scholarship (India): £2,000 scholarships per award.

These awards are open to both UK and international offer holders, with values ranging up to full tuition fee support.
