University living announced social scholarship; Know how to apply, Eligibility and more

University Living, a platform facilitating student accommodation abroad, has launched the third edition of its Social Scholarship program. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications for the scholarship through the official website - universityliving.com/scholarship.

According to a press release from University Living, scholarships totaling INR 10 million will be granted to selected students as part of the program. The Social Scholarship program is available to Indian students pursuing undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, or diplomas in the United Kingdom or Australia.

The program aims to recognize socially conscious students who actively contribute to fostering positive social change. As per the press release, the deadline for students to apply for the scholarship program is May 31, 2024.

Social Scholarship Application Process

• Visit the official website at universityliving.com/scholarship.
• Complete the scholarship application form and reserve accommodation through University Living.
• Create a video showcasing your contributions to social causes.
• Share the video on Instagram and tag @uni.living.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or diploma programs at any University Living (UL) affiliated locations in the UK or Australia are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
• Applicants must have received an offer from a university in the United States, the United Kingdom, or Australia to enroll in a qualifying course.
• Interested students must have made a reservation with UL and possess a verified booking ID.
• Candidates' endeavours should have contributed to social progress, fostered social cohesion, or supported the empowerment of marginalized or minority groups. Additionally, efforts aimed at enhancing the environment, society, or animal welfare will be considered. However, it is important to note that the scale of impact or the number of beneficiaries will not be the sole criteria for awarding the scholarship.
• Scholarships are exclusively available to full-time students.
