Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test 2024: ₹1,500 Stipend for 1,500 Selected Students

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has officially launched the application process for the Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test (TLLAT), starting September 5, 2024. Students interested in participating can download the application form from the official website; dge.tn.gov.in. The final date for submission of applications is September 19, 2024.

₹1500 Stipend for 1500 Selected Students for TLLAT

The Tamil Language Literary Aptitude Test is scheduled to be held on October 19, 2024. The state government has set a target to select 1,500 students from schools across Tamil Nadu. Successful candidates will be awarded a stipend of ₹1,500 per month for two years to support their educational endeavors.

Eligibility and Application Details:

The test is open to students currently enrolled in Class 11 at recognized schools, including those affiliated with CBSE and CISCE within Tamil Nadu. To apply, students must download the application form from dge.tn.gov.in and submit it, along with an examination fee of ₹50, to their respective headmasters or principals.

The examination will be based on the Class 10 syllabus prescribed by the Tamil Nadu government and will be conducted at district capitals throughout the state.

Selection Criteria:

The Directorate of Government Examinations has outlined that the selection process will ensure equitable representation. Fifty percent of the chosen awardees will come from government schools, while the remaining fifty percent will be selected from both government and private schools.
