Swiss Government, Switzerland Offers Excellence Scholarships 2016

Swiss Government, Switzerland invites applications for Excellence Scholarships for Ph.D students, Postdoctoral and Research programmes for the academic year 2016-17.

Details of Excellence Scholarships:

Ph.D Scholarships:

• The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 1'920 Swiss Francs.
• Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
• The scholarship is only valid for full time PhD studies in Switzerland.

Postdoctoral Scholarships:

• The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 3'500 Swiss Francs.
• Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
• The scholarship is only valid for full time postdoctoral research in Switzerland.

Research Scholarships:

• The scholarship amounts to a monthly payment of 1'920 Swiss Francs.
• Exemption of the tuition fees (except for EPFL).
• The scholarship is only valid for full time Research in Switzerland.

Eligibility:
For Ph.D Scholarships:

• Candidates should have a master degree or equivalent university degree recognized by the Swiss University.
• Candidate must not be more than 35 years old at the moment of the application.

For Postdoctoral Scholarships:

• Candidates should have a PhD degree.
• There cannot be a gap of more than 5 years between the award of the PhD and the application deadline.

For Research Scholarships:

• Candidates should have master degree or equivalent university degree.
• Candidate must not be more than 35 years old at the moment of the application.
