Summer fellowship programme by IIT Madras

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT M) has opened applications for its summer fellowship program. Interested individuals can submit their applications for the fellowship program through the official IIT Madras website - sfp.iitm.ac.in.
Candidates have until 5 pm on March 31 to apply for the IIT Madras summer fellowship program.

The summer fellowship offered by IIT Madras spans a duration of two months, starting from May 22 and concluding on July 21, 2024. However, the schedule may be adjusted to accommodate the convenience of students, as clarified in an official statement from the institute.

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 6000 per month for a maximum period of two months.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants in their 3rd year of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) programs or in the 3rd or 4th year of Integrated M.E./M.Tech. programs, as well as those in their 1st year of M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./M.A./MBA programs, are invited to apply if they possess exceptional academic records, demonstrated by high ranks in university examinations. Candidates are encouraged to emphasize their academic achievements, including participation in seminars, execution of projects, involvement in design contests, performance in Mathematics Olympiads, and any other awards or distinctions received.
