The reliance on digital platforms for work, education, commerce, healthcare, and socializing during 2020-2021 underscores India's thriving digital evolution. The advent of 5G has spurred demand for a new generation of digital skills, with an estimated 22 million skilled workers needed in India by 2025.

In alignment with this transformative landscape, the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships aim to cultivate exceptional talent to propel India's new phase of development. The Foundation seeks to identify and support 100 outstanding postgraduate students, offering a substantial grant and a robust development program to nurture future leaders with a vision for societal benefit.

Eligibility for Scholorship

Eligible candidates include first-year postgraduate students across India pursuing degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Material Science & Engineering, and Life Sciences. The scholarships encompass a holistic development program, fostering excellence through expert interactions, industry exposure, and volunteering opportunities.

Key Features of the Scholarships

• Nurturing leaders for a sustainable and digital society.
• Rigorous selection process based on merit, welcoming applicants from all socio-economic backgrounds.
• Up to 100 postgraduate scholars will be selected.
• A total scholarship amount of up to INR 6 Lakhs over the degree program duration.
• 80% of the funds disbursed annually for tuition and academic expenses, with the remaining 20% available for professional development.
• Additional engagement and development activities, including talks, workshops, mentoring, internships, volunteering opportunities, and a strong alumni network.

• Application deadline: 17th December 2023.
• Start by completing the eligibility questionnaire on our website.
• Submit applications through Application Portal, providing:
• Personal, Academic, and Extra-curricular details
• Two Letters of Reference: One on academic capabilities and one on character and leadership traits
• Academic/Professional Information
• Two Essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose
• Supporting Documents

Selection Process

All candidates must take the online aptitude test. The test is 60 minutes long and consists of 60 Multiple Choice Questions. Test components cover verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.

3 Stages of Selection

Evaluation Stage: First level selection
An expert panel consisting of industry experts, academicians, and field leaders will assess applications.
Interview Stage: Second level selection
Webinars for interview preparation will be conducted for all candidates.
Virtual interviews by the expert panel will take place.
Selection: Announcement of scholars
Up to 100 scholars will be selected based on merit evaluation of all candidates.
