Objective of Pratibha Scholarship
The Pratibha Scholarship has a primary goal of fostering the embrace of Science education among students. This initiative seeks to inspire students to choose science-related subjects in their current academic pursuits, regardless of the associated high tuition fees. The scholarship amounts are disbursed annually, providing financial support to students.
Another objective of the Pratibha Scholarship is to financially assist students studying in the Science and Technology field. This support ensures that students can successfully complete their studies without being burdened by financial constraints. Interested individuals can submit their applications online before the specified deadline, ensuring timely registration.
Duration of Pratibha Scholarship
The duration of the Pratibha Scholarship corresponds to the time frame determined by the selection body for the distribution of scholarship funds. Students pursuing science-based degrees will receive the scholarship for a duration of three years.
Who qualifies for the Prathibha Scholarship Programme 2024-25?
To be eligible for the Prathibha Scholarship Programme 2024-25, a student must be enrolled in a 3-year B.Sc., 5-year Integrated M.Sc., or a 5-year Integrated BS-MS course in Basic or Natural Science at any university in 2024. The following criteria must be met:
- The candidate must have successfully completed their education within the state of Kerala.
- If the candidate has applied for another scholarship, they are not eligible to apply for the Prathibha Scholarship.
- The candidate is not allowed to take an academic break during the five years of aid provided by the scholarship.
- The candidate must have passed their higher secondary or post-matric examination (Class 12) in an institute located in Kerala.
- The candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in natural or basic sciences at any institute across India.
Steps for Applying for the Prathibha Scholarship
Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship online:
- Provide the candidate's personal information for registration, including their name, address, email ID, passport size photo, and higher secondary examination registration number.
- After entering personal information, an approved data sheet by the Head of the Institution where the candidate is registered will be issued.
- Submit the approved data sheet along with an attested copy of the Class 12 mark sheet to the KSCSTE before the specified deadline.
- After a successful survey, a temporary rank-list will be posted on the KSCSTE portal.
