The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) for the academic year 2023-24 has announced the commencement of registrations for students from classes 9 to 12. Registration Process

• New users must go to the Home Page of the National Scholarship Portal scholarships.gov.in to sign up.

• Select 'Register'.
• You will receive a student application ID and password on your registered mobile number.

Eligibility Criteria

The NMMS Scholarship is intended for meritorious students from economically weaker sections. Therefore, students applying for this scholarship must meet specific eligibility criteria. They should be studying in a government, local body, or government-aided school. The candidate's family income should not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh per annum. The student should also have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in the previous class.
