Maulana Azad Scholarship 2019: Apply Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme Before Sep 30

Maulana Azad Education Foundation, which was established with a vision to promote education amongst the educationally backward minorities, has released the notification and activated the link for Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme 2019-20. Interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions can register online for the scholarship until September 30, 2019.

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship is one amongst the Maulana Azad scholarships. The scholarship will be awarded to girl students who belong to minorities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jain. The shortlisted candidates can earn up to Rs 5,000 each for Class 9 and 10. It is Rs 6,000 each for Class 11 and 12. The scholarship will be provided only to those who secure at least 50% marks and annual income of students' parents/guardians does not exceed 2 lakh.

The scholarship amount will be credited directly to the Bank Account of the selected candidates through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) mode. Students should note that the Maulana Azad Education Foundation doesn't have any branch or authorised offices/agency anywhere in the country. The Maulana Azad National Scholarship scheme has awarded scholarships to over 5.89 lakh girl students till now. The scholarship amount is over Rs 500 crores.
