LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2023-24 presents an opportunity for financially disadvantaged students to pursue higher studies, courtesy of the Life Insurance Corporation of India, a state-owned insurance and investment company. The chosen individuals stand to receive an annual scholarship of up to ₹40,000.

Initiated by India's largest insurance company, the Life Insurance Corporation of India, this scheme aims to provide scholarships ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 40,000 to financially needy students who have achieved a minimum of 60% in their Class 12 exams this year and are continuing their studies. To avail of this scholarship, eligible students across the country must apply online by January 14, 2024, through the official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India, licindia.in.
The primary aim of this initiative is to grant scholarships to deserving students from Economically Weaker Sections, enhancing their prospects for higher education and employment.
For Regular Scholars:
Candidates who passed the Class XII exam (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks in the Academic Year 2021-22 are eligible.
Parents/guardians with an annual income not exceeding Rs. 2,50,000 per annum.
Scholarships are granted for pursuing higher education in fields like Medicine, Engineering, Graduation, Integrated Courses, Diploma Courses, Vocational Courses, or other equivalent courses through recognized institutions.
For Special Girl Child Scholar:
Special scholarships are available for girl children after Class 10, pursuing higher studies in Intermediate/10+2 pattern, Vocational or Diploma Courses.
Candidates must have passed the Class X exam with at least 60% marks in the Academic Year 2021-22.
Parents/guardians' annual income should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000 per annum.
