IIT Bombay Launches New Scholarship for Female Students

IIT Bombay and Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) have joined forces to introduce the Kotak Kanya-IIT Bombay Scholarship, a significant initiative aimed at supporting female students from underserved backgrounds at IIT Bombay. This scholarship provides Rs 2.85 lakh annually until the completion of their professional degree courses, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational aspirations.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria:

  • A minimum score of 75% or an equivalent CGPA in their Class 12 board exams.
  • An annual family income below Rs 5,00,000.
