The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is accepting applications for the INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship Scheme 2021. Young achievers can apply for post-doctoral fellowships that will allow them to conduct independent research. Inspire Faculty Fellowship Scheme 2021: Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be an Indian citizen or a person of Indian origin with PIO status with a Ph.D. degree (in science, mathematics, engineering, pharmacy, medical, or agriculture-related disciplines) from a recognised institute to be eligible for the fellowship program. Starting with the higher secondary exam (class 12 onwards), candidates must have a minimum of 60% (or equivalent CGPA) scores throughout their academic career.
The candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. theses but have not yet received their degrees are also eligible.

Inspire Faculty Fellowship Scheme 2021: Selection And Age Limit
The selection for the Inspire faculty fellowship scheme 2021 will only be confirmed after the Ph.D. degree has been conferred to the candidates.
The final selection of a candidate will be made through a three-tier procedure that includes application examination by discipline-based expert committees (INSA), apex level committee (INSA), and INSPIRE faculty award council (DST).
The candidate should not be above 32 years of age as of January 1, 2021, to apply for Inspire faculty fellowship scheme 2021.
Each INSPIRE faculty fellow would be eligible to receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 1,25,000. In addition, each selected candidate will receive a research grant of Rs 7 lakh each year for the next five years, plus any carryforward amount from the previous year.
