DRDO Scholarship 2019: Apply To Earn Up To 1.86 Lakh Per Year

Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has launched the DRDO Scholarship Scheme exclusively for girls 2019. The scholarship is eligible only for undergraduate and postgraduate level girl students in Aerospace Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Space Engineering/ Rocketry/ Avionics/ Aircraft Engineering under the aegis of Aeronautics Research & Development Board.

Interested girl students can apply for DRDO scholarship until September 10, 2019. Aspirants should visit the official website of RAC (rac.gov.in.) to apply for the scholarship. The undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships are awarded to a total of 10 and 20 seats, respectively. One can earn a scholarship amount up to Rs 1.86 lakh per annum. Eligibility

For Postgraduate - Candidates with a valid GATE score along with a minimum of 60% in BTech/BE or equivalent are eligible to apply for the scholarship. They should also secure admission to the 1st year of the current academic year.

For Undergraduate - One should secure admission in the 1st year of BTech/BE or equivalent beside holding a valid JJE Main score.

Selection Process

  • For Postgraduate - The selection will be based on a valid GATE score and merit basis.
  • For Undergraduate - The selection will be based on a valid JEE (Main) score and merit basis.

Candidates should note that during the tenure under scholarship, postgraduate and undergraduate scholars need to pass all the tests and examination and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 7.00 or 70 per cent marks. One who faisl to achieve in the academic examinations will not get the scholarship amount for that particular year.
