The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened applications for the Single Girl Child Scholarship for the year 2024. With a stipend of ₹500 per month, this scholarship aims to support girls who have completed Class 10 with at least 60% marks or are previous beneficiaries currently in Classes 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship has specific eligibility criteria:

Fresh Applicants: Must have passed Class 10 in 2024 with at least 60% marks and must be enrolled in Class 11 at a CBSE school.
Renewal Applicants: Students who were awarded the scholarship in 2023 and are continuing their education in Class 11 or 12 can apply for renewal.

Additionally, the tuition fees for Class 10 should not exceed ₹1,500 per month, with a permissible 10% increment for subsequent classes. NRI students studying in schools abroad must ensure their tuition fees do not exceed ₹6,000 per month. Applicants must be the only child of their parents and must hold Indian nationality.

Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents:
A verified copy of the Class 11 mark sheet.
Aadhaar card linked to the applicant's bank account.
Bank details such as account number, branch address, and either a copy of the bank passbook or a cancelled cheque.
Submit the application before the deadline of December 23, 2024.
