AICTE Offers Pragati and Saksham Scholarships 2015

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for Pragati and Saksham Scholarship Scheme 2015-16. Pragati scheme is for girl students and Saksham Scheme is for differently abled students who are admitted in first year of their degree/diploma for the academic year 2015-16.

Details of Pragati Scheme Scholarhsips:

4000 Scholarships each worth Rs. 30000/- or covers the actual tuition fees paid, whichever is less.
And contingency allowance of Rs. 2,000/- per month for ten months (only for the students staying in the hostels).

Details of Saksham Scheme Scholarhsips:

1000 Scholarships each worth Rs. 30000/- or covers the actual tuition fees paid, whichever is less.
And contingency allowance of Rs. 2,000/- per month for ten months (only for the students staying in the hostels).

Eligibility:
For Pragati Scheme:

Scholarship is available only for One Girl per family.
Family income should be less than Rs. 6 Lakhs per Annum.
Candidate should have been admitted to 1st year of the degree or diploma program in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year 2015-16.

For Saksham Scheme:

Scholarship is available only for differently abled students having more than 40% disability.
Family income should be less than Rs. 6 Lakhs per Annum.
Candidate should have been admitted to 1st year of the degree or diploma program in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year 2015-16.
