Cricket is one game which binds the entire nation with one spirit. Especially, in countries like India, Sri Lanka, Australia and many more people are crazy about this wonderful game. In order to sharpen up the cricketing skills and the inner talent, the Queensland Cricket's online course presents Cricket Australia Orientation to Coaching Course.

The course, aims at people who are mounting on this coaching ride for the first time. It provides participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of coaching children and contributing to skill development. It is largely practical, lots of fun and a genuine contributor to the development of the skills which are required to supervise and instruct children whilst playing and practicing cricket.

The course includes some technical points for teaching cricket skills and it also provides practical suggestions on modified games and skill activities that can be implemented by coaches at any level.

To complete the course, a candidate needs to follow few steps:

Step 1
Download take a print out of the Cricket Australia Orientation to Coaching Course book for reference.

Step 2

• Observe the 3 x 20 minute video streaming sessions
• Note you may need to download the codec.

Step 3
Download and print off the Quick Quiz for assessment.

Step 4
Email the completed quiz along with the contact details to local Queensland Regional Cricket Manager.

Candidate's local RCM will then email the Orientation to Coaching Certificate, original Orientation to Coaching booklet and Junior Sport Policy.
