IIT Roorkee invites applications for its 'Strategic HRM' programme

IIT Roorkee, invites applications for its short term course on 'Strategic HRM for Effective Performance' programme for the academic year 2014. The programme is organised by the Department of Management Studies of IIT-R. Candidates can apply online by logging on to the official website of the IIT-R.

This course refers to the proactive and systematic alignment of human resource systems, processes, policies, and practices with the mission and strategic objectives of the larger organisation. It is aimed at equipping HR people with the general overview of strategic management framework in relation to HRM. The primary objective of this course is to enhance the
skills of HR professionals, faculties and students who aspire to build a career in the field of human resources. Generally it will enable participants to: explore the relationship between the management of people and pursuit of an institution's strategic goals and objectives. It is for those who seek to understand or play a part in shaping the overall strategy of their institution and the decisions that flow from it in terms of human capability.

Programme fee:

The course fee per participant from Academia/ R & D center/ Industry is Rs 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only). However, if 3 or more people jointly apply for the course, would get a discount of Rs. 500/- each. Also, there is an early bird discount of Rs. 500/- for those who register for the course by 31st March, 2014. Programme fee includes boarding and lodging at Continuing
Education Center (CEC) guest house. Maximum number of seats is 30. It will be allocated on a first-come-first-served-basis. The course coordinator can be contacted for any query.
