IIT Kharagpur Offers Free Online Course on Robot Kinematics: Apply Now!

IIT Kharagpur is offering a free online course on Mechanism and Robot Kinematics Mechanism and Robot Kinematics. This is a twenty hours course that can be taken in sessions for a duration of 8 weeks.

Anirvan DasGupta, a faculty in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur will be the course instructor. Both UG and PG students are eligible to take up this free course if they belong to the relevant departments. There is also an optional exam that helps students to get thorough in the lessons.


Course objective

According to a statement, the course is expected to help students and researchers in their basic understanding and use of kinematic analysis. This course will also pave way for more advanced courses on the mechanism and robot dynamics and design.


The last date to register for this course is 5 February 2018.
