IIT Bombay conducts course on Intro to Computer Programming- Part 2
IIT Bombay is offering an online course on 'Introduction to Computer Programming- Part 2'. This three-week course builds on the basic foundation in computer programming, and discusses the Object Oriented Programming paradigm.
About The Course:
This is the second part of the course, and corresponds to the second half of the Computer Programming course CS101.1x at IIT Bombay. This part begins with introducing the basics of object oriented programming and moves towards an advanced level.
Topics Included are as follows:
- Introduction to Object Oriented Programming
- Classes and Methods
- Polymorphism
- Inheritence
- Standard Library of C++
Course Syllabus:
- How to abstract a problem in an object oriented style
- How to use the Standard Template Library (STL)
- Object oriented programming, basics to advanced level
- Standard Library of C++
Prerequisites:
Candidates should have knowledge of high school mathematics. Exposure to pre-calculus is desirable. Knowledge of basic programming concepts, as covered in CS101.1x is essential.
