IIIT Allahabad conducts summer school on Robotics

International Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad is all set to conduct a seven-day summer school on Robotics from June 7 - 13, 2014.

The summer school would cover the following topics:

Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics
Humanoid Robotics
Computer and Robot Vision
Robot Motion Control
Aerial Robotics and Unmanned Vehicles
Safety, Security and Rescue Robotics
Bio Robotic

Eligibility: Faculty from leading national educational institutes like IIT, IIIT, NIT, and other Govt. University/Institute/R&D laboratories and having the primary knowledge of Robotics are eligible to apply for the course (30 Seats). 5 seats each are allocated to the faculties/professionals of private universities/institutes and industry. After review of application and detail information, final shortlisting will be done on the basis of academic/industrial and research credentials of the applicant. A total of 40 candidates will be shortlisted for the course.

Course fee: There will be no registration fee for the candidates from Govt. Institutes/Universities/R&D laboratories, whereas Rs. 5000/-Only will be charged as seat booking fee, which will be returned along with the TA reimbursement.
The registration fee for candidates from other universities/institutes and industries will be Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- respectively. The registration fee includes the registration, course material and full boarding and lodging for entire duration of summer school. The accommodation will be provided to the participants only, in the institute guest house on twin-sharing basis on first come first serve basis based on availability
