Chandrayaan-2, the country's proud space mission was successfully placed and we can soon witness a lander and rover to explore the moon's south pole. The sources suggest that Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander is expected to land in September. This Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) lifted-off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota at 2.43 PM on July 22 and placed the 3,850-kg Chandrayaan-2 into the earth orbit.
While applauding the success of Chandrayaan-2, the HRD Ministry tweeted to take up a career in Aerospace Engineering through Swayam portal. The courses will begin from July 29, 2019, on the subjects related to Aerospace.
