The Central Board of Secondary Education, popularly called CBSE has taken a vital step into enhancing educational accessibility, by informing the schools under affiliation about the accessibility of NCERT Online Courses for Class 11 and Class 12 at the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) portal; swayam.gov.in.

The students of CBSE Class 11 and Class 12 are expected to check about this innovation in detail at the official website of SWAYAM. The introduction of NCERT Online Courses will aid the students under consideration immensely. This step of CBSE will help in the enhancement of educational level and aid students in a better performance. The Ministry of Education (MoE) of the Government of India developed the SWAYAM platform, which provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) intending to enhance students' learning opportunities.

According to the CBSE, enrolment for the courses is now open and will end on September 1, 2024. Through the SWAYAM platform, the NCERT is offering multiple-cycle online courses in an assortment of disciplines for Class 11 and Class 12.

28 online courses comprising 11 topics (Accountancy, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English, and Sociology) are available for Class 11 and Class 12 students in the 13th cycle from NCERT. The period of the time for these courses is April 22, 2024-September 30, 2024.

The Education Ministry implemented the SWAYAM platform, which provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) intending to improve student learning possibilities.

Steps to Register for the NCERT Online Courses for Class 11 and Class 12 at SWAYAM Portal:

Step 1: Go to the official website of SWAYAM; swayam.gov.in.
Step 2: Register yourself if you are a new user.
Step 3: Verify your account.
Step 4: Access the course by clicking on the course link like NCERT.
Step 5: Enroll in the course for FREE.
Step 6: You can learn the content and complete all activities.
Step 7: Take the final assessment and earn certification.

The online courses have been designed to complement and enhance the virtual learning environments that students experience. It is also recommended that parents and teachers take these courses to learn about topic matter and good teaching methods.
