NIRF Ranking 2022: IIT Madras Top Institute In India, IISc Bengaluru Top University, Here’s Complete List

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022, seventh edition, has been released today, July 15, 2022. The list of top universities, colleges, and other educational institutions in the nation has been released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan via a virtual event at 11 am on nirfindia.org.

Overall, University, Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), Law, and Research Institutions are the eleven categories for which the NIRF India Ranking 2022 has been released. The weighted averages used to determine the rankings and the NIRF India Ranking parameters vary for each category. The complete list of NIRF India Rankings 2022 is provided below.

The JNU secured second position in the university category which was appreciated by UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. The UGC Chairman tweeted, "NIRF Rankings announced today. I congratulate JNU for securing 2nd position in University category and 10th position overall in India. I feel proud to have been associated with JNU from Jan 2016 to Feb 2022. Best wishes to students, staff and faculty members of JNU."

NIRF Ranking 2022: Top 100 Higher Education Institutes In Overall Category

IIT Madras has continued the tradition and has maintained its position as the best institute in India in overall category. According to the NIRF Ranking, which was issued on July 15, IISc Bengaluru is the best ranking institution in both the research and university categories.
