Human Resource Development Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has launched a web-portal YUKTI (Young India Combating COVID with Knowledge, Technology and Innovation). This unique portal will deal with the efforts and initiatives of MHRD during these difficult times caused by Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
While launching the YUKTI portal, HRD Minister said the primary aim is to keep the academic community healthy and to enable a continuous high-quality learning environment for learners. The portal is an effort of the HRD Ministry to achieve its goal in these difficult times.

HRD Minister has launched the YUKTI Portal 2.0 on June 23. He appreciated the AICTE Innovation cell which has created YUKTI 2.0 platform. The sources suggest that the YUKTI portal 2.0 was initially promoted with the name Massive Indian Novelty Depository (MIND).

The portal covers the initiatives and efforts of various academic institutes related to Coronavirus. It will handle different dimensions of Coronavirus challenges in a very holistic and comprehensive way. It even handles social initiatives by institutions and the measures taken for the wellbeing of the students.

Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has informed that the portal will cover both qualitative and quantitative parameters for effective delivery of services. It will also allow the academic institutions to share their ideas and strategies for various challenges caused by the Coronavirus.
Minister hoped that the portal will provide inputs for better planning and enable MHRD to monitor effectively for the coming months. The portal also establishes a two-way communication channel between the Ministry of HRD and the institutions that helps the Ministry to provide the necessary support system to the institutions.
Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank believes that YUKTI portal will help in critical issues related to student promotion policies and placements related difficulties in these challenging times.
