The Youth Action Summit (YAS) 2027 is set to take place in Berlin, Germany, from January 11 to 14, 2027. According to the official CDA website, applications are open to candidates aged 16 to 45 years. There is no nationality restriction, and applicants from all educational backgrounds can apply. A working knowledge of English is required, while there is no minimum professional or previous conference experience requirement.

YAS 2027 Scholarships and Funding Options

CDA has announced 250 scholarship and forum-access places for YAS 2027. These are divided into 50 fully funded scholarships, 100 partially funded scholarships and 100 Forum Access Passes. Applicants can submit one application for consideration across the available categories.

The fully funded scholarship includes round-trip airfare support, shared four-star accommodation, visa support, reimbursement of visa fees, summit participation, meals, networking events, an official certificate, delegate kit and other programme activities.

The partially funded scholarship provides shared accommodation, visa support, summit access, meals and related programme benefits, while airfare is not included. The Forum Access Pass provides access to summit sessions, networking opportunities and meals, with participants arranging their own travel and accommodation.

The official scholarship application page currently lists an application fee of $17.

Youth Action Summit 2027: Application Process

Interested candidates need to complete the online application before October 5, 2026. The application asks candidates to provide details about themselves, their motivation for attending and their leadership or community experience. The scholarship application page also requests information such as educational or professional background, previous conference participation and a CV or profile details.

After the application deadline, selected candidates will be notified and can proceed with seat confirmation and the required travel documentation.
