Born in Bhuvanahalli village in Hassan, Karnataka, Yash grew up in a modest family. His father, Arun Kumar, worked as a driver with the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation and later the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, while his mother, Pushpa, is a homemaker. From an early age, Yash developed a strong interest in acting, theatre and dance.

Yash's Early Dream of Becoming an Actor

Yash participated actively in school theatre and dance competitions while studying in Mysuru. He eventually wanted to leave school after Class 10 and pursue acting full-time. However, his parents insisted that he complete his senior schooling.
