XAT 2016: Exam paper pattern remains the same

The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2016 exam is scheduled to be held January 3, 2016.

Pen-paper based

XAT is a paper-based exam. The format of the exam will remain pen-paper based only so that candidates belonging to all the backgrounds are at par. The paper-pen mode also ensures that all candidates are tested on exactly the same set of questions, and not on different sets.

The registration for XAT exam is going on and November 30 is the last date to apply. The scorecard of the test is used by more than 100 institutes for admissions. While the admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of XAT prior to a week before the examination.

The exam is conducted by XLRI on behalf of the XAMI.

Eligiblity CriteriaEligiblity Criteria

Candidates who are interested to appear for the exam, should have completed three years of graduation or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. Those candidates who are completed their final examination by June 10 are eligible to apply.

Important Dates

  • Applications can be available from: August third week.
  • Last date to submit the application: December second week.
  • XAT exam date: January first week
