The Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA) has introduced an exciting Internship Programme tailored for budding law professionals. This initiative is designed to offer young law students and recent graduates practical exposure to the workings of the legal system, equipping them with hands-on experience in research, litigation, and advisory roles across various fields such as constitutional law, administrative law, finance, economic law, and labour law.

Who Can Apply?
If you're an Indian student or law graduate, here's what you need to qualify:
- You must have completed at least the second year of a three-year LLB course or the third year of a five-year integrated LLB course from a recognized institution.
- Law graduates from recognized institutions are also eligible to apply.
- Preference will be given to candidates proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and other advanced computer skills.
Application Process
To be part of this prestigious programme, candidates need to:
- Complete the Online Application Form - Available on the official portal.
- Submit Required Documents - Include your academic certificates and identification proofs.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) - Not required for graduates; final-year certificates can be submitted instead.
- Application Deadline - Submit your application by 11th March 2025, 5:00 PM.
Internship Structure
DOLA will accommodate up to 50 interns every month, placing them in key legal offices, including:
- Main Secretariat, New Delhi
- Central Agency Section, Supreme Court
- Litigation High Court Section, Delhi
- Branch Secretariats in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru
