The West Central Railway has released an official notification for filling up the vacancies of Primary Teacher (PRT), Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Posts on its website wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. The interested and willing candidates can apply for the West Central Railway Recruitment 2021 post online through a prescribed application format before 15 February 2021.

West Central Railway Teacher Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

The candidate applying for Primary Teacher (PRT) Post should have qualified Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and must hold a 2-years Diploma certificate from any recognised institute. The candidates should be a Graduate and pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam.

As a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), the candidate must hold a Graduation Certificate in teaching subject and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary education with minimum 50% qualifying marks.

For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), 2-years of Post-graduation in M.Sc. in the concerned subject; or Master's Degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% marks is mandatory.

The candidates should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English language. The candidates with knowledge in Computers, Music, Yoga, Physical Education, and any other extra-curricular skills will be preferred.

Age Limit: The candidate should be a minimum of 18 years of age and not more than 65 years of age.
