West Central Railway Recruitment For 647 Trade Apprentices Post, Apply Before February 28

The Indian Railways, through RRC West Central Railway, Kota, has called for online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 647 Trade Apprentice vacancies in multiple trades comprising Electrician, Fitter, Welder (G&E), Painter, Mason, Carpenter, Electronics, Plumber, Forager and Heat Treater (Blacksmith), Electrician, Wireman, COPA, Machinist, Turner, Lab Assistant, Crane Operator and Draftsman through direct recruitment. The registration-cum-application process towards the same started on January 29, 2020 and closes on February 28, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Trade Apprentices post through West Central Railway must have attained 15 years of age as on February 1, 2020 and not be more than 24 years of age (Gen/UR), 27 years (OBC) and 29 years (SC/ST) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 170 including GST (Gen/OBC) as application processing fee through online (debit card/credit card/net-banking) mode only. SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants, however, are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for Apprentices post through West Central Railway must have passed Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks (aggregate) with ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognised Board/Institute as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to Apprentices post through West Central Railway will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in their Matriculation as well as ITI examination in the concerned trade.

Candidates selected as Apprentices through West Central Railway will be paid a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship norms.
