The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB), Kolkata, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 125 vacancies to the post of Staff Officer-cum-Instructor in the Civil Defence Organisation under the Department of Disaster Management and Civil Defence, Govt. of West Bengal through direct recruitment. Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Staff Officer-cum-Instructor posts through West Bengal Police Recruitment 2019 must have attained 20 years of age and not be more than 39 years of age as on January 1, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST of West Bengal only) and 3 years (OBC of West Bengal only) respectively as specified in the notification.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 270 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 20 (SC/ST of West Bengal only) respectively by using United Bank of India challan or through any other mode as applicable.
Educational Criteria And Eligibility
Desirous candidates applying for Staff Officer-cum-Instructor posts through West Bengal Police Recruitment 2019 should possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institute, and must able to speak, read and write in Bengali language.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates for Staff Officer-cum-Instructor posts through West Bengal Police Recruitment 2019 will be done in four stages:
- Preliminary Examination (CBT)
- Physical Measurement Test and (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET),
- Final Competitive Examination and
- Personality Test
Candidates selected for Staff Officer-cum-Instructor posts through West Bengal Police Recruitment 2019 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 7,100 to Rs. 37,600 per month.
