In a press conference held today, May 8, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the West Bengal Uchha Madhyamik Result 2024. As of right now, the scorecards have been uploaded on the official website at 3:00 pm. Students in Class 12 can check and download their results by visiting wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. The result link is currently accessible.
The WB Uchha Madhyamik board exams 2024 were administered by WBCHSE from February 16 to February 29, 2024. The Class 12 exam datesheets for the 2025 exams have been made public by WBCHSE. The dates of the 2025 West Bengal Class 12 board exams are set for March 3-March 18, 2025.
This year, around 7.5 lakh students took the WB 12th exam; 6.7 lakh, or 89.99 percent, passed. Abhik Das of Alipurduar received the highest score of 496, or 99.2 percent, on the Class 12 final examination.

WBCHSE Result 2024 Highlights
Up to 6,79,784 students pass out of all the students who appear. 90 percent of students succeed.
Total number of exam takers: 7 lakh 90 thousand.
In all, 755324 students took the Class 12 final examination.
The council stated that no incidences of paper leaks or other irregularities were detected during the Class 12 final exams. It also stated that 41 instances of candidates carrying cell phones were reported, and those students had their candidatures denied.
Due to illness, 130 candidates from hospitals or medical centres showed up for the exam.
The WBCHSE president said that the WB HS Uchcha Madhyamik result was released on the 69th day after the examination was finished.
This year's QR codes on QPs and marksheets helped to prevent fraud.
The number of female students is 91,838, which is more than the male students.
