WBSEDCL Recruitment: Apply Online For Asst. Engineers (Civil/Electrical) Post Through GATE 2020

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), under Government of West Bengal, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling numerous vacancies to the post of Assistant Engineers in Civil and Electrical streams through GATE-2020. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must submit their applications before October 1, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Assistant Engineers through WBSEDCL Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age as on January 1, 2019 and not be more than 27 years, 30 years (OBC - A & B), 32 years (SC/ST) and 37 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 1,500 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 750 (SC/ST//PWD and Women candidates) respectively as examination fee through online mode (net-banking/credit/debit payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Assistant Engineers through WBSEDCL Recruitment must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Construction and Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Power engineering disciplines from a recognised University/Institution duly approved by AICTE/IITs.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Assistant Engineers through WBSEDCL Recruitment will be done based on the candidates' GATE 2020 score in relevant GATE paper as specified in the notification.

Candidates selected as Assistant Engineers through WBSEDCL Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 per month with a grade pay of Rs. 5,400
