WBJEE 2024 bulletin released; Exam on April 28

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has issued the information bulletin for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024. The information bulletin is now available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Prospective candidates eligible for the entrance exam, aiming for admission to undergraduate programs in engineering/technology, pharmacy, and architecture, can refer to the official website for the detailed schedule.

WBJEE 2024 Registration Process

  • The initiation of the WBJEE 2024 application process is anticipated in the fourth week of December. All applications for the examination must be submitted online, and no printed application forms are provided.
  • Go to the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) at wbjeeb.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, select the link labeled "WBJEE."
  • Click on "Apply For WBJEE - 2024."
  • Register on the portal and complete the application form.
  • Upload the required scanned documents and, if applicable, pay the application fee.
  • Submit the form, download it, and retain a printout for future reference.

Application fees

As per the announcement, male candidates from the General category are required to remit an application fee of Rs 500, while female candidates in the General Category are obligated to pay Rs 400. In contrast, male candidates in the SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/PwD/TFW categories are subject to an application fee of Rs 400, while female candidates in these specified categories are required to submit an application fee of Rs 300.
Candidates identifying as Third Gender are obligated to pay an application fee of Rs 300.

Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options provided for each question. The Mathematics section will comprise 75 questions, totaling 100 marks. Similarly, the Physics and Chemistry sections will each have 40 questions, contributing to a total of 100 marks.
